cruise 3 Best Cruise Line For KidsI don’t know about you but when I think of vacation and kids in the same sentence, the first thing that comes to my mind is “DISNEY”.  So it is only natural that when I take this one step further and try to think of the best cruise line for kids, once again, the first thing that comes to my mind is “DISNEY”.  This organization is the master at creating land vacations. Wouldn’t you think that they would also excel at producing cruising vacations for kids! I certainly would.

 


In 1998, Disney launched The Disney Magic on the east coast which can hold 2400 guests. One year later, Disney expanded to the west coast with another 2400 passenger cruise liner, The Disney Wonder. While theses ships have enjoyed much success through the years, the cruise industry has been growing by leaps and bounds. As such, Disney did not want to miss the opportunity that lied in waiting by catering to an even larger audience.  Therefore in 2011, The Disney organization launched the 4000 passenger Disney Dream.  As if that wasn’t enough, for 2012, we will see the launch of another 4000 guest vessel, the Disney Fantasy.

In addition to all the amenities people have come to know and love about Disney vacations, these cruise ships have a very exclusive port of call on their itinerary…Castaway Cay is an exclusive island in the Bahamas owned by the Disney organization for the sole purpose of it’s cruise ships to dock at. Here you will enjoy a wide variety of tropical leisure activities such as snorkeling, sunbathing, kayaking, boating and just plain exploring. Of course their are plenty of kid friendly activities with the all important character greetings at center stage.
